Last week the Ambassadors looked at supermarkets across the district. They listened to the procedures put in place and gave advice on how to improve them, if needed.

For certain stores they also reached out to their head office to discuss their procedures. These talks are ongoing this week and are already leading to productive change.

They have also observed numbers at the beach over the weekend. From their observations they are now planning to begin joint patrols with the Police to the busiest areas. This will include children’s play areas where they have had a few complaints.

This week they will continue to focus on supermarkets, as well as smaller essential shops in the community.
